I like "21", but I love "4". Both are great albums, but I can jam to Bey's while I pick through Adele's music & only come out with a few tracks. 4 >>> 21.
Over-all, I have to say that 21is the better album, had the better performing singles and of course had the greater impact.
The songs I like from 4 are 1+1, Best Thing I Never Had, Love on Top, Countdown, End of Time, I Was Here, Run the World (Girls).
Among these, End of Time is the highlight. Her vocals on 1+1 and 'Best' is flawless. Surprisingly, 'Run' is a grower, 'Love' is a sweet, first listen-love it kinda of song. And Countdown's beat and lyrics is in your face and very infectious. Party's cute too.
On the other hand, it's just recently that I loved 21 as a whole and listened to it religiously. I used to ignore the other tracks but now, I saw the gems in He Won't Go, Take It All, I'll Be Waiting, even the cover, Lovesong. Set Fire to the Rain would have to be the standout track for me. It's everything I can ask for a song. The emotion of this song is overwhelming. And Someone Like You and Don't You Remember was even more overwhelming. I've never heard a song like One and Only.
Both album were great, 21's edge would have to be it's theme and flow.

. I love both, they're my favourite albums from last year and both turned me into a fan of Bey and Adele.
