It really annoys me when people say Rihanna cannot dance, and only started dancing properly in the WHYB video. Well I was watching a video of Rihanna in 2006 supporting PCD on the UK leg of their tour, and she is dancing like Beyonce here! If only she danced like that throughout her whole career, I reckon she would have got a lot more respect for being a live performer. Check out the vid below...

Yes I saw her live in 2006 and she danced her ass off, she's a great dancer when she's not lazy.

I completely agree. I feel like she has gotten lazy a bit. I think she needs to take a long break, and come back completely amazing and willing to work hard!!! Back then she was a hard-working, determined and very talented performer and I hope we get to see that side of her again!

Rih is actually a competent dancer but once she made it big the need for choreography diminished and since she hasn't really danced like the vid in 06 in some time her skills may have faded

I cba researching but I thought she was slaying SOS then i noticed the mic far from her mouth yet perfect vocals coming out... but then I put 2+2 together and concluded it was her miming the studio version which probably happened.


Though it's quite funny how the tables have turned, I think both Lady Gaga and RiRI opened for PCD on tour which on the flip-side shows how much the industry has changed over a few short years.
Rihanna can do it all, she just "seems" to be getting better each era to keep us interested. By the end she'll be snatching everyones wig.

I have wondered sometimes if she is actually a lot better than she lets on to be... I mean she does improve vocally with each era... hardly anyone does. And she also seems to be getting better overall as a performer and dancer so I sometimes wonder if she holds back so it seems like she gets better and better with each era
