Tulisa, step aside – Beyonce inspired Little Mix’s single, Wings
Little Mix are back on the publicity trail as they ready themselves for their latest release, Wings but the inspiration for their track hasn't come from their mentor Tulisa, instead they've chosen an even bigger star.
As the girls performed at T4 on The Beach on Sunday, the X Factor winners were asked who influenced their song. They told Digital Spy: "For 'Wings' it was Beyoncé and Michael Jackson."
Wow, what a pair!
Despite the N-Dubz singer also being at the festival in Weston-Super-Mare Little Mix failed to pay homage to her and instead opted to shy away from talking about her.
With a firm focus on their music Jesy Nelson was eager to talk about their latest musical efforts: "We love it and we're really proud of it."
Band mate Leigh-Anne Pinnock backed this sentiment up, saying: "There's old-school and lots of group harmonies with modern beats. It's pretty exciting."
We bet!
When we last spoke to the girls it was just after they won the TV talent contest, they were obviously energetic and super excited.
And Jesy had something special to say to her fans: "I just want to say thank you to everyone that supported me.
"[To] everyone who got behind us and supported us it really cheered me up lovely to have that support."
We imagine that support will continue too!
