unless the people have the CVV code on the back of the card, it's worthless. i have NEVER encountered a shop online that didn't prompt me for one, debit OR credit. Also, VISA now has a special secondary screen for certain banks that you need to login with a pin and ID. So basically, you need to input a motherload of information just to use these. The secondary screen isn't for all banks though, but some of the major ones. Finally, the companies will notice a charge discrepancy - for example, if you live in Ohio and make a charge using someone else's card, and then that person makes a charge and they live in say, Idaho, VISA will halt the card and investigate.
My sister and my friend were victims of card number theft (they didn't post it online) but VISA nailed the thieves both times because of the discrepancy in cities. If you all are seriously going to try it, just know that VISA are bloodhounds.
Yes,to process transactions ONLINE. It's not rare. Alot of big name sites don't require tha security code on tha back. Amazon.com being one of them. As far as tha receipts are concerned,go to Amazon yourself and put something in tha basket and attempt to buy. They ask for nothing but tha name on tha card, card number, and expiration date
Oh..?? There are a few books I was planning on getting from there as well
