True, but SUBG will probably remain as one of the biggest and most recognizable pop/rock anthems in the past decade with the buildup to a stomping chorus and soaring bridge which Kelly does oh so well. The unfinished production of the song so far is reminding me of the bass and drums in WDKY. Hope it changes.

P!nk spearheaded Pop Rock in the 2000s. P!nk is Kelly's Idol. Kelly is heavily influenced by her and that's apparent in her music.
Just because Since U been Gone blew Up doesn't mean this track sounds like a Kelly Clarkson track. In fact, Kelly's music is P!nk-esque. Since U Been Gone was initially intended for P!nk anyway, but she turned it down.
This songs range, however, is more suited to Kelly. P!nk is always pushing her vocal comfort zone
