i always laugh when people say that nowadays, madonna only cares about money. with an estimated net worth of $650 million, the last thing she needs to be doing is releasing new music and embarking on a world tour. for all i know she could have stopped making music after her first album and would have had her life set.
people fail to realize that she has been doing this for 30 years. to be doing something for that long clearly shows that she loves what she does and takes her artistry seriously. she has always been in control of her career and could have easily chosen to walk away whenever she wanted to. madonna has my respect for staying at the top of the game without any public meltdowns or drug/alcohol addiction (cause god knows how much she has dealt with publicly throughout her career).
