Sometime's artists really just need to be hit, I hate it when there's a sure-fire hit on the album and they just IGNORE IT. For instance

Rihanna . We Ride (WTF) --> Break It Off
Kelis . Trilogy (Eh..) --> Circus
Christina Aguilera . Hurt (Flop) --> Still Dirrty / Candyman
Danity Kane . Anything (C'mon) --> Sleep On It
Jojo . How To Touch A Girl (BOORRRING) --> The Way You Do Me / This Time
Cherish . Show & Tell (Pick It Up) --> That Boi

Artists just choose the worst songs to release, while we die! for the club bangers to be release.

Kelis could ressurect "Kelis Was Here" with Circus, a hot circus themed video with actors representing popular music artists could sky rocket. Radio Loves Controversy.. Jojo what was she thinking? and Christina? "Hurt" should have been saves, "Still Dirrty" needs to hit! And c'mon DK, I KNOW for a FACT. If "Sleep On It" was released, it'd be Top 20 for SURE. That song peaked HIGHER than "Ride For You"

I think Trilogy is a good single choice for Kelis (if it's actually the next single)... it puts the previous two to shame. With good promo this could be a hit in Europe too, where Bossy flopped miserably. Circus is an even better song, but in my opinion it has less commercial appeal.

hurt only kinda flopped in US, it´s big in both asia and europe...but i guess you are meaning USA....then i´m totally with you...i think she should´ve done like nelly f. and release hurt globally, and still dirrty in USA!...hope she have thought of that now...

Hurt is doing fine in MN has of right now...so I wouldn't say it's a flop. Yeah it's true they don't ***** it up on the radio like JT and Akon but it still get's played at least 5 times a day. But now it's losing it's grip and they aren't playing it so much now. It could've been a bigger hit though.

Kelis pretty much flopped ever since Bossy died down. Blindfold me was never even played from what I know of.

Rihanna well radios here skipped We Ride and went straight to Break it Off and that's doing pretty decent of right now.

Jojo hasn't been picked up at all with her new single. TLTL is still being played once in a while each day but H2TAG isn't really radio single worthy! It probably won't pick up at all with the success she's having lately

Danity Kane isn't doing much here either. At least that I don't know off. They used to play ShowStopper once in a while each day but Ride for You isn't picking up yet.

And last not but least....Cherish. They are doing perfectly fine They play Do It To It and Unappreciated but not *****d up like some other artists They released a good 2nd single because it actually picked up here.

Yipee that is my speech for every new single!!

^interesting facts! and about hurt, since RCA thought it would be the new "beautiful" (ingorance...) and only peaked at #19, of course it´s dissapointing....but i don´t think people realize thát it´s became huge in the rest of the world, hit #1 in 4-5 countries and is in many top 5 still, i think it´s been at least as big as irreplacable outside of america!
and 1 thing more ; the 2nd most sucessful single from "strripped", fighter, only peaked @ #20 in US!

Beyonce should have made "Irreplaceable" her fourth single IMO so it could be a huge hit during the Sprin time and switeched "Upgrade U" to the third single, because "Upgrade U" was getting early spins, but now the song is dead, and might possibly still be a single...

I beg to differ. "Sleep On It" is hot and most fans love it, if you've ever been to a nightclub, that song is perfect! It's DJ friendly.. I almost always agree with you, but I believe "Sleep On It" could be a Top20

The only way Upgrade U will be a single if she puts it with Jay's Hollywood. The next single is Get Me Bodied which has already charted on R&B. Beautiful Liar is still up in the air too.

I agree with you on JoJo, Xtina, and Rihanna's cases.
I add some like P!nk should release "Cuz I Can", or other singles instead of "Nobody Knows" Wew.
Then Dixie Chicks should release "Easy Silence" / "Bitter End" instead of "Everybody Knows",
KT Tunstall should release "Another Place To Fall", instead of "Under The Weather".
