I have been doing volunteer work this summer at an Women's Abuse Shelter and I see and hear so many different scenarios of mental,physical,emotional,financial, and ect abuse from many different stand points ,but I have noticed there needs to be more involvement in Same Sex Relationship Abuse. Not to say one is more important than the other because any abuse is wrong in my opinion. But ATRL is majority homosexuals so I just wanted to discuss is.

I have never been in an abusive relationship but I have a friend who has. The authorites said it was just "a fight" but he has a broken nose and bruises all over his body and his boyfriend was unharmed.

no, i havent been in an abusive relationship and honestly, i wouldnt know what to do if i was in an abusive relationship, because its easy to say get out of the relationship or break up with the guy but when you love a guy sooo much, it's really hard to break apart from them. my friend was once in an abusive relationship and it caused her a dislocated shoulder. poor gal

No. I'm far to young for a relationship to get that serious but I do come from an abusive home.

So the people that are abused deserve it because they should have more "class"?
