Hey guys, what do you think Gaga's next era should look like: # of singles, release dates, themes for each single, music video treatments, performances etc.

For me:

1st single - around July - September. It needs to be fresh sort of like We Found Love, but with Gaga's signiture style. Video directed by: Francis Lawrence. Great choreo (imagine Scheisse's breakdown at the bridge). I hope the producer for this is Zedd or DJWS. I wouldn't mind RedOne doing it.

Album Release - November

2nd single - I think a power ballad ala The Edge of Glory, nothing controversial since we know what happened with Judas. Fernando produced track

3rd single - Dance/Edgy track. A Tarantino or Akerlund directed video. RedOne or DJWS produced

4th single - Something mellow like Alejandro. RedOne produced

5th single - Something Edgy like Paparazzi. Fernando produced maybe.

6th single - Fan favourite track.

But I know Gaga will find ways to ruin everything

Tbh I don't want 6 singles. I don't think she should extend the next era out that long. She should release a few singles and allow this album to rebound her status. Also the singles should not be released so soon after each other

I agree about this, it feels like the BTW era was rushed because of this. And look at us now, she left us hanging with nothing until the next era.

I think that tweet shows that Gaga does care about success/competition when it comes to charts, even though she's obviously joking. Hope she really brings it next era.

The James Bond single will still be there to potentially block her from topping the Hot 100. You know how radio is when it comes to Gaga. They don't play her nearly as much as they have with Katy, Rihanna and Adele.

I just typed out a huge response in the "Biggest Pop Star right now" thread arguing why I think Gaga is bigger in an overall sense than Adele, and then right after I submit it I see my own fave tweeting her relief at Adele not making music for a while.

I think radio is just waiting for Gaga to release proper songs that can relate to the casual listeners and I'm sure they'll be back on board with playing her music. Up to this day, they still keep playing Poker Face, Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Just Dance and even Born This Way. I hope Gaga can find the balance with her music next era, having that commercial appeal while still being different/experimental.
