Don't worry I like Marina songs too all you Marina stans, but it just makes me laugh you guys mocking Jessie when you can't exactly talk.

And fyi, Jessie's older songs and the ones on her UK version of the album were all done by herself for seven years, so it's not like she ripped Katy of, she's a real artist who had to make a decision to cater for the generic/ current American taste which happens to be Dr Lukeish sounding music.

Woah, I didn't mean to insinuate so much with my post, it was harmless. I am a casual fan of Jessie, actually... I didn't mean for the post to come off as rude, she is being marketed similarly to Katy and there are a lot of similarities between the two.

Although I like Jessie, I genuinely prefer Katy's voice. I don't stan for Katy because of her ability to do runs and melisma, I love her voice in spite of the fact that she can do neither as strong as Jessie.

I'm not pressed, I admitted that Katy would not be able to do them as well as Jessie, as far as technical singing goes. Just because Katy's voice is technically worse than Jessie's doesn't mean I can't like it more.

See, I didn't like Jessie's Firework. I would rather hear Katy's live Firework than Jessie's, even though I know Jessie's was technically better

I can't believe I'm saying this but Katy is too great/adept of an artist to ever be forced to sing 3/4's of the songs on Who You Are. That album is the very pits of pop music and Jessie somehow manages to make it worse.

But imagining Katy singing Do It Like a Dude is hilarious. The comic value of it would already put it leagues above that disgusting piece of trash Jessie calls a song.
