Madonna is always a bitch about people she considers rivals though, so eh ... isn't she acting like Madonna? I do agree with Joan to an extent though, at this point SHE.IS.MADONNA. Madonna is the Queen of Pop forever, she is Queen, she is probably the most famous female entertainer that ever lived. She shouldn't be letting "competition" or even "copying" from kids like Gaga get under her skin. It does make her look insecure and she's to a point diminishing her accomplishments by acting insecure.
I think Madonna always gives a crap to a point, that's why she bothers to shade. She's marking her territory. The thing is she's so beyond having competition at this point that it's kind of stupid for her to appear jealous or insecure of others success - especially KIDS. Reductive is fine, but then she adds the concert piece on top, meh.
I will say Madonna flashing at a concert or anywhere is nothing new for her. I don't find that desperate. I wish she wouldn't. I don't want to see anybody flashing including Gaga and Rihanna and Perry. The press acting like that is surprsing for her is what's insane (and ageist and sexist)
