In any field--music, art, fashion,etc.--it's far more socially acceptable to insult a more skilled newcomer than disrespect a less skilled veteran. Kylie's just avoiding Madonna's wrath. Besides, Gaga doesn't give a **** anyway and neither should her fans; she's above the catty remarks and petty drama

Funny, because I can recall numerous rock legends explicitly saying they think Gaga Is more talented/better, etc.

Since I am a fan I know more than just some info in the album booklets. Producers said that she wrote most of the songs they just added a bit when they produced them. Its because the songs all started out just like when she performed them acoustically. The producers had to transform them into mainstream pop/dance pieces thats why they had to adjust.

And she was first signed as a songwriter and we are comparing her songwriting skills to Madonna's so what are you complaining ??? Saying its nothing special about her songwriting is irrelevant here in this thread since Madonna did not even write all of her songs. There is no 1 single song on those GaGa's albums that she did not write.

Madonna has written mostly all of her songs. These are only a few that she didn't write. Please stop using that excuse, there's plenty of successful songs she has written compared to the ones she didnt.

Guys, please don't start a Gaga fans vs Kylie fans war now. They both promote love and kindness. And Kylie is entitled to her own opinion and I sort of get why she went for Madonna's side on the talent department.

Kylie was and is a gay icon and her homos have always been there for her. Bravo and E! are two of the biggest gay friendly networks. It makes sense for her to pay a visit and promote Timebomb in the States.

I will disagree with Rolland when he said CGYOOMY is bigger than anything GaGa has done. That is preposterous. And mariska, GaGa is by no means a good technical singer. She has some skills but she does venture a lot into her nasal range. It's not delusion, it's fact.

Ch, it's not about quantity it's about quality. What Madonna has written is far superior to Gaga's writing. PERIOD. I don't expect you to change your mind. So you can save your paragraphs to yourself.

Nasal range?

Gaga can be nasally but there is no nasal vocal register. I'm not saying she should be on broadway, but anybody who can belt dozens of E5s and then hit it off with an F5 is good in my book. She has a versatile voice, has well supported belts that are resonant and can position her larynx properly, for the most part.
