This isn't really new, but I haven't found it anywhere, so I decided to upload it. This is offical, NOT fan-made. This version was apparently played on French radio, and is registered in Katy's ASCAP.
I had to add static before the song to avoid copyright, but I have a version without it if anyone needs it
More "easy listening"-ish radio stations play this version a lot. I also hear songs like "I'm Into You" without raps. In this case it's kind of an improvement.
I don't know what you guys are talking about. Snoop's presence kinda makes the track for me. His humorous verse is perfectly suited to such a wonderfully playful pop tune.
I've heard this version played on AC radio, and while Katy manages to sell the song because she's fully committed to this bubbly, bimbo character, it still cries for Snoop to chime in with silly rhymes before the final chorus. Something is needed to kick the song into overdrive, something that can be used to usher in Katy's cool ad-libs towards the end of the track.
