I can see it shaping up to be that way. Even if she has success with future singles, I can't see her being a big album seller, I think if she released an album in the US it would flop. I don't see anything to keep the public interested in her for very long. Not many people know about her as an artist, they just know CMM. There a couple stans but that's it. Most people probably don't even know who sings it.
It definitely is. I don't think there's much buzz at all behind Carly as an artist, which will definitely affect her future releases. People just like the song.

Based on sales forecasts from industry sources, Billboard projects that the song may sell between 95,000 to 125,000 downloads by the end of the week on Sunday, July 1.
