I don't see that happening at all. Say the next album will be just like PF:RR, and a mix of hip-hop, pop and R&B.
To be honest, it's really only her US fans (and even then, only a few) that push this "hip-hop only/mostly" ****, so she should just do a different tracklist for US market.
Album 3: 16 tracks for US, mostly hip-hop, and 22 tracks for the rest of the world with 6 additional pop tracks.

tbh she will probably do pop more in the future but I just see the third album being more hip-hop oriented People are doubting her rapping skills and I think she has to show it off and prove herself. If she continues losing her credibility as a rapper, that won't do good for her career in the long run
I would honestly prefer a one-genre album that's cohesive and direct than tons of genres all messy and smashed in just for the sake of pleasing every fan.

The problem with PF:RR (according to critics and others) is that it lacked cohesion. True, the album was good, BUT, it was all over the place. A double-disc album would've been much better. And I say predominately hip-hop because I know she gets tired of being called a sell-out...and fans have been asking and wanting more hip-hop on the next album. She even said she may in an interview somewhere (correct me if I'm wrong). It's okay to be diverse, but don't neglect the main factor that made you famous and got you noticed: HIP-HOP. I mean really, do you honestly think "Starships" and "PTA" are what she is capable of and or people will remember her by? Nicki is better when it's just her and beat rapping...check COAC, RH, and HL. Either that, or she needs to stay the hell away from dance pop music. And why can't she do what she did with Pink Friday? Blend and combine the music....make it cohesive....a good body of work. Plus, PF:RR lacked substance. People want more rap Nicki...we can have pop as well, but can she at least give both sides equal attention?

Well tell her that...but that would go back to what I said earlier. Just make sure the Hip-Hop out rivals and outshines the pop. If she does plan on doing a half-pop half-rap album again, her best decision would be to do a DOUBLE DISC. So because we mainly want more rap than pop music, were naive? She's a rapper at heart, not a popstar...either that, or she refuses to be labeled as one. If she doesn't want to be one, she needs to stop proclaming herself as a female rapper when you simply push and promote your pop songs. If your a rapper, then rap. Its okay to be diverse...just make sure you cater both sides and don't forget your roots.

That would be a good idea...but why not just make a double-disc at this point? She could have the pop smashes on the album...they could be the deluxe tracks. Some of the other countires mainly only know Nicki because of her POP MUSIC...of course they would suggest nothing but pop (and I've encountered other nicki fans from different countries and the ending result is usually the same) watch some of her tour videos. The crowd raps and sing along and bop to her hip-hop tracks. They know something. It wouldn't kill her at all. Predominately hip-hop with a few pop...that's all that needs to be said.

I can't...your such a troll....I can't with this statement
The pop is not unwanted...I enjoy it...but for this next era, she needs to do Hip-Hop. People are doubting her...she needs to show and prove why she is the baddest bitch in the game. Hip-Hop songs with substance...that's all we need. No dance pop...and if she does, make it a minimum. I know in the future she'll do more pop oriented music, but for the next era, her best decision would be to make Hip-Hop music. That's all.

I know all of Nicki's verses by heart, just let me remember the beat and her flow and I'm good. But I've been slacking this year with her features. I don't know any of them...

I can't take Division sometimes.
He always acts like Nicki should just go pop, and turn out PTA's, TMO's, Automatic's every album. Those songs abandon anything that reminds me of Old Nicki. She becomes a different person on her pop tracks, and it turns me off. She doesn't even rap, really. She puts on a weird voice and throws lyrics together. They're catchy, but forgettable. Nicki truly has the potential to be a hip hop LEGEND, but not if she puts out hits like a cheap hybrid of Ke$ha and Flo Rida. You can't be a true STAN for Nicki if you're only here for her pop trash, because that's not who Nicki has been for the majority of her career. And if anyone thinks that's what she should become, then they are DELUSIONAL beyond belief. She needs a hip hop album to get back the credibility she lost with PF:RR, and MORE. I will always stan for Nicki. I will NEVER stan for a gimmick.
Her album sales says it all. PF was bigger than PF:RR for a reason. People want hip-hop from Nicki, not songs about moving your hips, drinking, and partying.

I want the next album to be conceptual like I thought this one was going to be. I would LOVE if Nicki pulled a 'Rated R' in terms of fashion and cohesiveness of the album. I want good rap and innovative tracks ala Roman Holiday,Saxon. gritty street tracks that still goes with the albums theme as well as r&b inspired and pop tracks with substance and not about just partying

I don't care what she does, if she wants to do pop fine. Its not like she has stopped and you get hiphop features.
She wants to be diverse so be it.
She already told yall she made RR out of fun, if she wanted the album to be serious she would have made it that way.

And watch PTA sell more and become bigger than Champion
Champion is pure "hiphop" and they are getting shot and released around the same time. Champion will be performed at the BET awards. So that "Champion had no promo" excuse wont work.

Her pop songs always sell more and always become bigger than her Urban Single...even with promotion, we all know Champion will not be that big. If she plays her cards right, it can at least go top 20...maybe top 10.
And she can do pop...I never said she couldn't. I enjoy them too.
