I think if it ends up being a song it won't be a ballad. It'll be a dance track like DITD or a funeral electroballad like BM. Just my guess. Almost all of Gaga's songs started out and can be played on the piano before they evolve into something else. I personally get Beatles, Candle in the Wind and Lana Del Rey teas from the song. The lyrics are beautiful and so melancholy. The title is a little try hard. The melody is pretty good although it gets a little repetitive. In some areas it reminds me a bit of LOTR.

Overall, I'm here for this song and the production could take this to another level. It's a lot more mature and isn't her usual pop formula. I can already hear slow, quiet Oooos going on in the background in the first chorus before it breaks out.
