The song was written by Nic to comfort his family after his father's death.
He is quoted of saying "It was inevitable I would write a song that dealt with all of that,but it was almost too big a subject for me to handle"

You have great taste! I hope their 3rd single is Rip It Up, it's definitely one of the biggest highlights on the album for me.

I think JET is becoming underrated, especially this year. Their CD really deserved more praise. It's my favortie rock album this year.

I’ve never seen them live before. Their latest single is "Shine On" (4th) (Peak at number 30 US modern rock)
"Skin and Bones" is rumoured to be the fith single off the album. -Previous Put Your Money(World), Rip it Up(Uk), Bring It On Back(AU) and Shine On(US).
Jet's Shine On sounds like a mixed of "Stop crying your heart out" and "Imagen" . It's a "muito importante para mi", tender song, with a emotive lyric. I like it.
