What were your reactions when Britney shaved her head?

I remember when I found out she shaved her head I was in complete shock. I did not know what to say. I remember during those times every night I would think what Britney would be doing and how she was feeling and her thoughts on life. I was honestly scared that she was going to commit suicide. I remember the first time I saw her with the shaved head was on MuchMusic when she was wearing that red dress. Everyone in my family was in shock and was praying for her.

And yes, I know people shaved their heads all the time. But it wasn't the shaved head that mostly worried me. It was connected with her behaviour as well.

I didn't pay as much attention to pop music then, so I just thought Britney was being crazy yet again...I didn't really care that much about her then, times have changed though.

At first I didn't care Then when she was hitting the car with the umbrella bald headed I was laughing I found out about it on the news channel

I felt really bad for her..and scared that she was going to end up dead.

I was in complete shock after seeing it as breaking news on CNN.
I thought she was mentally ill, the image of her smiling at the mirror whilst shaving her head scared me.

I felt bad because I thought she was giving up on her life and she was going to commit suicide or hurt herself. I was scared for her.

I cried tbh. It's not cool to see one of your childhood idols go through such a rough patch in their lives.

That didn't scare me as much though as that video of her with the umbrella smashing the car. That's when I REALLY got scared for her life. It was just so shocking even though everyone knew she was spiraling downwards. I know it's invasive, but I'd really be interested in the events that occurred leading up to that. Like what drugs she was given (forcefully or otherwise) and the scenarios that made her freak. I remember so many people were making fun of her and I was just thinking how awful it was and NOT something anyone should make fun of or even pass judgment on. She was so clearly in need of help and not in a good place emotionally and for people to try to capitalize on that is wrong. I swear she has never fully recovered. The sparkle in her eyes has been gone for years this makes me so sad.
