While they definitely shouldn't have sold a 17-song album for $0.99 with BTW, I think selling new albums for $5 makes everyone happy in the end.

It would be humorous to see people get mad at new shirts on sale in their local American Eagle like they did when BTW was on sale at Amazon.

These Amazon sales are so insignificant and small. Whats the big deal?

Personally I think it's great. I don't know why anyone would ever be mad about music on sale.

Amazon has hundreds of new albums on sale for $5 at an given time. People need to stop reaching; no one buys them anyway.

The industry just needs to suck it up and make this the norm for album prices, or do frequent sales. It's why things like Steam succeed in spite of piracy.

Very new albums? Like, first-day? Nope.

Sometimes two or three weeks later, but first-day is still relatively new.

There were at least 2 first-week releases on sale for 5 dollars on the first page I looked at last week alone.

Every digital album should be around $5 tbh.
