Coldplay are my 2nd favourite band, after Linkin Park. However, I had to vote for Green Day. Green Day changed pop/punk/rock music. Their impact is just too big to ignore it, not to mention they are in the game for a longer time. Coldplay do excellent soft rock music and that's it. I don't like to compare artists, though. They're both amazing in their own way.
