But I can also cite articles that say the Graveyard Court no longer exists.

...This is the final year for the Graveyard Court. By next year's tournament, the piece of sod that's haunted so many champions (including Venus and Serena, in recent years) will have been demolished...

"Friendlier Court Replaces Wimbledon 'Graveyard'"
Quote:
...To build Court 3, the club had to destroy the court that had earned its nickname, the Graveyard of Champions: a place where many a seed had failed to germinate, including Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, both Williams sisters and the seven-time champion Pete Sampras, who was upset by the Swiss journeyman George Bastl on the Graveyard court in 2002 in what turned out to be Sampras’s final Wimbledon match...
...Now the Graveyard is gone, too, along with its Crow’s Nest, a small observation tower that could be reached by a narrow ladder and offered a view of 12 courts...

Also, when you think about it logically, there's no reason to consider the new Court 2 a "graveyard" yet. The old Court 2 got the nickname "Graveyard of Champions" because SO many champions lost there. How can the new Court 2 be named the "Graveyard of Champions" when it's only been in existence for four Wimbledons and Venus is probably the only champion that has lost on it so far? So, you see, continuing to call the new court the "Graveyard of Champions" is quite foolish and illogical.
