My parents nor my sis ever told me about something that was hiding under my bed to scare me. They weren't that cruel to me, however I did think monsters were under my bed or just in my closet or my room at night. I remember as a child, I always ran out of my bed and wen to my parents room and jump right into their bed because I'd always think a skeleton was following me while I was running to my parents room. But when I was too scared to sleep my sister always told me to think about Disneyland and that everything would be alright and usually that worked.

I was never scared of the Boogeyman. Sometimes I'd be scared that Satan would come in my room when I slept, though.

I never believed in him but somehow it was always related to dark places and like or not, I always prefered not to be alone in dark places. My brother believed in the Coco (that's how we call the Boogeyman in Mexico) so he always prefered to sleep with the open door.
