The song "Wide Awake" is doing amazingly well on radio, iTunes, and OnDemand streaming. For most of us KatyCats and other fans on here, we can honestly say that this song's performance has surpassed MANY expectations. Some people thought it would underperform or would not perform at all, but it's currently at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. For an "overexposed" pop star who has continuously released EIGHT consecutive smash hits in the past two years from one era, "Wide Awake"'s performance is nothing to frown upon (considering that it's not your typical summer song).
Anyway, I've said all of this to say -- PLEASE DO NOT RELEASE ANY REMIX TO THE SONG. We do not need
these two things happening again
Let it run its course. If it's meant to hit #1 it will. If not, save your
desperate tactics and spare the KatyCats of a never-ending dragging from certain fan bases
