Scheiße and So Happy I Could Die are the least eclectic songs done by RedOne. The chorus' of both fall flat. Scheiße has a good melody too, it needed a stronger and harder synth in the chorus (see the Roman Stone Mix).

The chorus of Scheiße is the best part.
And don't you dare put Scheiße in the same league as So Happy I Could Die. So Happy I Could Die is 80000x better.
Why do songs need to have a "prominent" chorus? I wish the chorus of Electric Chapel was more of a moment, but the monotone steadiness of SHICD makes sense and fits the song.

Well, the difference is the verses of Scheiße and Electric Chapel aren't monotone, whereas the verses in So Happy I Could Die are, so it gets boring.
Electric Chapel was meant to have a lighter chorus, I actually enjoy the Electric Chapel chorus and the Scheiße chorus was obviously meant to be a big chorus, but it just wasn't..

Who cares if it's monotone? Not every song needs a huge chorus. The vocals and production fit with what the song is about.
Did you really think the commercial was going to be pretty? The perfume is black, infused with her blood and it's Steven Klein. It's to be expected.

This isn't an acclaimed movie though, it's a pop-star trying to sell a product. Do you think if you see the advert on TV and see her puke in someone's mouth, that's gonna make someone sitting at home say "oh, that's brilliant, lemme go buy that perfume!"? I don't think so.
