Mrmmm Beyonce. I feel that her fanbase is more secure/loyal and LG's is more fickle? Beyonce genuinely did not have a big hit for the 4 era yet still sold 1.2 million copies in the US. Gaga had 2 big hits (BTW and TEOG) and one decent hit (Y&I) and still struggled to sell another million after the first million the debut week.
Not quite she still promoted the hell out of it and released singles and did her regular route in regards to promotion. It's not like she just dropped the album and said bye.
I guess you can say Gaga, but it's not to far fetched to say Beyonce.
Beyonce didn't drop hard between Dangerously In Love and B'Day. B'Day and I Am...Sasha Fierce were about what and what, and 4 sold decently despite a drop and no major hits.
