I love it.
I love the fact that she approached this record and sought out to make music.
Just make music. Not for hits, not for success, not for accolades, she just made music.
I love her approach to the entire record.
It's eclectic and varied, retro, and very nuanced.
Her vocal approach was different from her other 3 records, and the production on the album is definitely miles more complex and musical than the other 3. It's not my favorite, but definitely her most musical album.

You can seriously find something different about each song, even after a year of listening.
Like I heard some new background layers in I Care about 2 months ago.
And I'm listening to Love on Top now and I just noticed the harmonies in the background during the "Everybody asks me why I'm smiling out from ear to ear" part is mimicking horns.
And then when she goes into the Dmaj key change, the "babababababababa" takes the place of the horns, so she's letting her voice create the mood for that key. Very nuanced.
Then it clicked that Countdown didn't even have a melody for the verses when I listened to it one day.
Small things like that make the album very unique and special.
Not to mention the production on the song. I can see why she said she felt like a mad scientist mixing all those sounds together.
