Swedish Eurovision champion Loreen has revealed an interest in working with some of the leading names on the UK underground - including James Blake.
Despite showcasing a Euro-House style pop track for her Eurovision win, Loreen told The Daily Star that she likes to focus on the darkness in her music and sees a kindred spirit in the gloomy dance stylings of James Blake and Magnetic Man producer Skream.
“The UK has the best dubstep ever, the underground music scene here is crazy good. James Blake, Jamie Woon, Skream, they are all so exciting and I would love to work here with some underground artists because it’s a metropolis,” she said.
Speaking about her own debut album, due out at the end of the year, Loreen added: “A big part of my album is really dark. It’s out in August and it’s going to be fusion between the electronic world and the organic.
“The instruments will be live, with a 30-piece symphony playing. It’s like a movie soundtrack.”
