Oh, the president supposedly doesn't agree; I guess anyone else with a thought should sit down, then. His opinion on the matter isn't any more valuable than anyone else's knowledgeable opinion.

I'm also still waiting for the receipts of Obama saying that.

Provide me with a link to President Obama even addressing the issue of "reverse discrimination"... which is probably more accurately know as "not racism."

That person you are responding to is from South Africa, so when she is talking about the president, she means the president of South Africa... Not Obama.

The "whose not white, btw" is what got me. Well, I won't and can't speak on what's going on in South Africa, but I still stand by my statements that "reverse discrimination" is a fairy tale.

Well we stayed in Stellenbosch at the university there. Went to Cape Town a couple of times to see Table Mountain and some other things. Both were beautiful and I loved every second of it except for when the students in Stellenbosch were rude to us for no reason, only because we were American

I know they did but my point is look at most countries that got their independence early on, they haven't developed much.
The white man stayed behind and built SA to become the biggest economy in Africa.

True. But we can't say. Africa had many systems of culture and society. Y'all need to watch Lost Kingdoms of Africa. It is so incredible. Slavery kinda destroyed Africa, especially black africa. Those who got their independence first had no infrastructure and due to the people being purposefully uneducated by the colonists, they had no way to build their country.

to be honest. while I hear what they're saying, I honestly think that it would have been a lot cheaper and effective to use other anti-natalist policies, and encourage education, family planning, etc. because when you really think about it, they've spent a lot of money in aid, research, and many other things related to the virus... and this is before you consider the fact that the disease has also spread to other regions, including developed nations. I think that the ape->human theory is the more logical one for AIDS. But that's only my opinion of course.

Lol. It's okay. I also had to double check to make sure she wasn't talking about Obama.

My family is originally from Somalia but I have extended family all over the continent. It's very beautiful.
I'm going to visit it next summer, God willing. I can't wait!

It's because there's always news about starvation and hunger and diseases in Africa. Africa is hardly in the positive spotlights, so people portray it as how the industry does.
There are some beautiful African countries, Morocco, Ethiopia, Egypt, etc.

My family is from Congo. I've lived there until I was about six years old.
Then we moved to Belgium.
I went back on vacation though , and my parents too.
It is a beautiful country.
