The Power of Good-Bye is a single from Ray of Light. It is a touching ballad, supposedly about Sean Penn. It's a fan favorite among Madonna ballads, and Madonna has great vocals on it. It should not be this high though. Especially higher than Justify My Love.
No disrespect at all. Personal preferences aren't supposed to be logical. It just seems like you like a lot of songs that most other M stans don't, and you hate a lot of her fan favorites. It's just an interesting observation...I guess her fanbase and catalog is so huge that it's hard to really reach a consensus on what her best songs are.

I guess that makes sense. I do enjoy a lot of Madonna fan favorites though. I think my opinion on TPOG and COADF are the things that I mostly disagree with.

Borderline is one of Madonna's best 80s single, and the most popular one on her 1983 debut here. It's an effortless almost bubblegum pop tune that mixes New Wave and Disco. It's basically what 80s Dance-Pop was all about. Yeah, it's perfect.
