]I start laughing at inappropriate times like , when rape in indiawas talked about I kept laughing and couldn't stop , and my teacher was on my ass about it ,I also laughed at the word penis and I couldn't stop I felt like a little kid And I tried to stop and it would just keep poping up smh . Sorry for errors ,typing from iPod , I ain't got time to reread
I'm the same way. When somebody cries, I have to try really hard not to laugh sometimes. Not because I think it's funny, but because I'm nervous or don't know what to do/say.
We were watching 'Precious' in Life Skills class. I busted out laughing at that staircase scene and the scene when she runs away with the bucket of chicken.
I'm the same way. I'm horrible at controlling my laughing too, so I always feel like an idiot. I always laugh in serious situations because I'm not a serious person. Sometimes it's not even that I'm nervous or uncomfortable though, I just sometimes find small or inappropriate/serious things hilarious
Sis I sorta know what you mean sometimes I swear I am the only one who see's awkward stuff and I nearly have to bite my tongue from busting out laughing at the people...But as for your case like posted above it could just be your body's response to those personal and sensitive words...

I haven't seen that yet but I kinda want to right now just to know what you're talking about

A lot of the time in a public place when it's completely silent, I'll think of something funny that happened a while ago and burst out laughing. On several occasions it's been really embarrassing .

See THAT was funny
Some parts in Precious had me laughing even though it wasn't funny
Ooooooooooh I laugh when my mom yells.
I hate hate HATE yelling. My number one pet peeve.
It makes me nervous and weird, so I laugh.
And that gets her even more angry.
I never laugh at another person's disgrace, like when someone falls and everyone laughs.
But a few years ago my friend was telling me about how his aunt died and I chuckled out of nowhere. I felt horrible but I couldn't stop. Guess I don't like that kind of conversations.
