'Sweat' is her 17th entry as a lead artist.

"Sweat" is not a good first single choice for someone who is trying to make a comeback.

Her fans seem happy with the sound, but she needs the general public on her side. If she's going to continue doing urban music, then she needs to have more options. Work with Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Jim Jonson and Diplo. These are all "in" producers and songwriters. People are actually checking for what they have to offer. I can't really root for her if she keeps choosing these tired, dated productions.

yess with it increasing at radio only thing she needs now is a bet awards performance with the video immediately airing that next day on july 2nd on bet every hour on the hour,mtv,etc, with the single hitting itunes that same day and some promo performances then walaah she has ay hit.

I pray she is performing, i hope thats the itunes delay reason bc it seem to still be getting released to radio

With Waka, Travis Porter, Cash Out, 2 Chainz, Future and this southern movement they sort of got going on I think you could tell what they were trying to do with Sweat and people still don't get it. But the production doesn't sound dated at all to me.

But I agree with you for the most part. And she does need the general public on her side, they are much harder and interested in female acts. A pop single with this alongside would have been smarter.

Why are yall talking as if yall know what is going to happen when it is all said and donr? they are dropping her pop single most likely closer to the vma's( rumored to be OWA) but the video director for her second single is already confirmed to be diana martel. so they clearly have a plan.

Those aren't really hot commodities right now. They are catering to a niche, so if Ciara wants to cater to the same niche, then hopefully there is something catchier and radio-friendlier in the works too.
