You act like Born This Way was a total disaster when it wasn't. It wasn't a repeat of The Fame/Monster but that was expected. She wasn't the "it" girl by that time and still isn't now and never will be again. She's not gonna have another era like The Fame or The Fame Monster if that's what you, or any other fan for that matter wants.

Although MTN floppes and Judas underperformned....I wouldn't dare even think of calling BTW a disaster....I wouldn't even call it an underperformance. It was actually quite stable in terms of album sales.....so idk who thinks it was a bad idea, I just can't see it

I was just expressing my views on the album after seeing Jack talking about it. It was just a random sort of feeling on the album, I wasn't relating it to anything. it was more the fact you talking about the album made me say my own opinions.....
I didn't mind the BTW era at all I actually enjoyed it and I didn't care much for the commercial success. I loved the music, (most) costumes, (some) performances, etc.
I'm only pressed about the single choices because she could have released iconic videos for BM, GH, Scheisse, and so on.

She won't surpass Poker Face as her biggest chart hit though. Or Bad Romance as her biggest pop culture event.
Radio has to get behind her, and they've pretty much scorned her at the moment. She can change that... I just don't know... Her collabing with Elton makes me uneasy.
I know some monsters don't want him but I hope RedOne is onboard again. Hair/Judas/Scheiße were the only songs on the album besides TEOG which sounded like legit smash hits, the productions are great and the melodies are very catchy. The only problem was that the lyrics marred their hit potential. Hair is cringe worthy, Judas is 'offensive' and gibberish German never had a chance in English speaking countries. I love Judas though, but I especially wish that Hair would've had better lyrics and the song wasn't actually about her Hair, that could've been a big hit. Wasted potential

Trust me, you never know with Gaga only on her (proper) second album. Everyone said Rihanna wouldn't top Umberella or match it's success, then came WFL.
Trying to beat BR's pop culture event is tricky I admit, that has a slim chance but never say never. It'd be easier getting a bigger chart success then PF then outdoing BR in terms of pop culture iconity.
