Gworl... I'm not a fan of Britney at ALL, and even I accept that Britney songs released around 10 years ago (and some even MORE than 10 years ago like S4U) are more remembered than 80% of Rihanna's hits (which the oldest are like.. 5 years old?). Some of Britney's hits are staples of pop culture... I can't say the same for Rihanna, at least not yet. Maybe only Umbrella..
Btw, critical acclaim has NOTHING to do with something being more memorable than other things...

The average person can't even name the majority of Britney's hits. Nostalgic Queens & Pop **** =/= The rest of the world. Rihanna's hits are more known, more covered, and more heard all over the global radios. STOP.

Why are you so bothered?
"An average person?"
Of course Britney is more known globally. I mean Toxic, Baby One More Time, Oops, Slave...

What sort of delusion
I guess I understand why you're mad though, songs that are 10+ years old are more remembered than your fave's recent hits that are around 4 years old.
It's hard,both have fantastic ones.Umbrella,Disturbia,We Found Love,WHYB etc vs Toxic,Break The Ice,Hold It Against Me,Circus etc.
I would say Britney since she has 3-4 iconic hits(BOMT,OIDIA,Slave,Toxic) and Rihanna has only one truly iconic one aka Umbrella.

You tried though.
kldcjlcfdnl at him talking about her hits being more known.
ANY of Britney's hits are more known than Rih's.
ANY of Brit's hits have been covered more than Rih's.
The little piano intro to Baby One More Time >>> Rih's hits.
Britney has so much more diversity in her catalogue of hits. The result of not releasing album year after year is a discography of hits that utilizes a much more varied amount of sounds. You have bubblegum pop, r&b infused pop, hip-hop infused pop, bollywood infused pop, dance, dubstep, etc.
