I've never been a fan of Lucy's singing voice and I'm not keen on that -her voice sounds shaky and strained.
However, she was awesome on the Bonnie Tylor song, that was perfect for her range and the grit. She sounded beautiful on the Smokey Robinson track too.
She was also pretty good on the Footloose which is a song that is very hard to make sound good vocally and it looked like she'd studied Shakira's Whenever Wherever. Her finale was a lot of fun and it looked like she studied Beyonce's Austin Powers video for that.
Her other performances (although there's one or two I didn't see) were mediocre and not very good. It depends on what she's singing and I like the way she sang so many different types of songs but she's better in some styles and not very good in others so sometimes she's like a good performer where the entertainment counts more then the vocals. But if she was singing songs that were purely suited to her voice she'd sound great and if she put on a performance too it'd be a great show.
Oh... I didn't catch this on tv. I had to go to Youtube to get all the videos. Thought she did much better then the other people who were participating.
She has a great voice. The thing i love about her is that she isn't trying to make a music career. She enjoys doing performances and she does it once in awhile.
