She sets trends, and lays out a catchy hook or two. Britney will forever be remembered for the good and bad, and represents the triumphs and tragedies of celebrity.

Nicki, Nicki, Nicki. She manages to combine rap, r&b, and pop and makes hits on every format. Not many people can do that. From her outrages costumes, flamboyant wigs, and wacky personality, she is someone you can't forget. However she is more known for her pop songs than her rap ones. But no one can forget her amazing verse on Monster, that had everyone talking. Nicki is someone to watch,

ADELE :
First of all, she is SAVING the music industry. Without her Last year's sales and this year sales were SO BADDD
With all of this dance - pop hits on the rdio, she is a fresh breath in the radio. Everyone needed it. and that why she has such a success.
Adele "opened the door" for a lot of artists\songs they would not have happen without her TBH. (Lana Del Rey, STIUTK , WAY......)

Adele is pretty much a fresh breath of air when compared to the rest of the industry. When you notice her performances against others you realize that all she relies on is her voice while other pop artists are jumping all over the place with back up dancers and lights everywhere. Adele is popular because of her raw talent. She has changed the music industry by opening the doors for many other artists to become popular and pretty much her songs are going to be remembered years from now. Her album is selling like no other album has sold in years and this is a day in age where selling albums has become harder and harder. She received 3 #1s from her album while her other single RHI has hit #16 but that is without any form of promotion which is pretty impressive.

I mean you only have to check out how big 21 has gotten when you see that 21 has tied Thriller for the most weeks in the top 3 in BB history. She will surely surpass this record and come for more .

Adele, unlike most other pop stars, (Katy, Gaga, Rihanna, Ke$ha, etc.) does not rely on brash synths and layers and layers of percussion and keyboards to cover up lack of vocal talent. She does not bombard people sonically and visually to distract them from lack of vocal ability. She doesn't have to pull wild antics to get noticed more and more.

Adele relies solely on her vocal ability, and thats what the public needs. When you can get one of the biggest hits of the year (SLY) with only a piano playing behind you, you know it's just pure, raw talent that she's using. She's not using whip cream boobies and a meat dress to get people to notice her.

Adele is important because she boosts a lot of people's self-esteem...at least I guess

Adele, because she saved the music industry. Last year was the first time in years that sales went up. Take away her sales and the industry is still slumping.

I mean not the perfect pop star like Rihanna she is a little bigger and still successful

I really don't know why he is important.

My opinion of Drake aside, I gotta admit he proved that new rappers can still break through and achieve superstar status, like REAL superstar status. Yeah there's artists like Wiz, BoB J.Cole that had great success, but what Drake has done hasnt been seen since 50 Cent. And like 50 Cent, if he dosent switch it up his days are numbered.

I don't really use him or think he is that good


But a lot of people I know think he is and sounds sexy as hell.
