I think if you assessed the album on a song by song basis, it still shines.
The whole boring thing... I wouldn't expect you to get the feelings she put into those songs emotionally, because you're so young. I say give it 4 more years and then judge those songs when you've had more experience because they're definitely relatable. Well in my eyes they are.

I understand the emotion. I can hear all of the frustration and pain in her voice. I really feel the meanings in the lyrics. TWYB touches me like no other. Emotion is what makes the I Am... portion better than Sasha Fierce. Her ability to convey emotion is part of what makes Beyoncé's voice so awesome.
They are only boring when I am not in the mood to wallow in my sorrows.
