I told him on a Saturday and he didn't say much, but that Monday when I got to school he wouldn't talk to me and was acting real wierd. My high school had off campus lunch and everyone would go to this street called Taraval that had all these restaurants and fast food places. He and I usually went together, but when I called him to meet me he never answered so I walked there by myself. When I got there I saw him hanging with his older brother and his friends. I asked him what the problem was and he said, "I don't have f*ggot friends." I had this reall shocked look on my face, because this was the first person I befriended when I moved to San Francisco and what not. He was really poor and my family treated him really well. When my family went to the Bahama's we bought him along, my mom would always invite him over for dinner, and she even got him an iPad for his birthday. Also, He wasn't great at math so I would tutor him. Anyways, I was lost for words then his brother said, "You heard him, F*G" and they all started laughing. My ex friend then flinched at me and something in my ignited and I lost it. Next thing I know i'm in the dean''s office and my mother is there. I was so pissed, but devastated at the same time. I have not talked to him since.

Wow.
Lost for words.
I'd of been beyond enraged in that situation. What a loser of a "friend".

I fail to see how straight men are stronger or
better fighters than gay men in any capacity.
Anyway, I've been in fights with straight guys. It's pretty funny to sock them
just once in the nose and see them snoring on the floor 5 seconds later.
You all need to stand up for yourselves, especially if a
straight guy is picking a fight with you just for being gay.

Now, I am not one who goes on looking for someone to fight; I'm generally a very well reserved homosexual. I have never been or plan on being in a fight but recently I’ve been encountering some problems with a guy who has threatened me with physical contact and I've just had enough. Now I can imagine pulling hair, throwing slaps and swings if i was to ever go one-on-one with a female. But I cannot see myself going up against a straight male, who is more than likely to be more experienced in fights and in this case much more fit and structured.
So my question to all my fellow gays: can you in vision yourself getting into a physical altercation with a straight male?
And for those who have experienced this: how was it? Did you lose? Win? Any tips?
I'm not trying to generalize.

If you can't win fairly, grab the nearest weapon and beat his ass.

I've seen the most flamboyant guys beat up straight guys with no problem (as if all straight guys can fight anyway). Stop being punks guys - if you gotta defend yourself then do so.

No . Just because somebody hits you, doesn't mean you're obliged to hit them back, have some self control.
And anyway, everybody knows that generally men are stronger than women physically and you don't know how badly you could hurt a woman if you got angry and hit them. It's like hitting a child or an old person. You just don't do it.
I don't give a **** about that equality **** when it comes to violence, if you're a man and you hit a female just because they hit you, it reflects badly on YOU.

I've seen plenty of females beat down straight men
I've seen plenty of gay guys beat down straight men
etc etc. And just because someone can bark off at the mouth and intimidate you doesn't mean they can fight. Any youtube video of bullies picking on people and getting their asses handed to them will show you that.

it actually could be. you really should do some research on childhood gender nonconformity, and if you really believe gender is something other than generalisation, then..

everybody thinks gays are generally weaker than straight guys, does it make it true?
i mean that's another thing, it just is more socially acceptable for males to fight but if a man has many traits of a female generalisation, where does that leave us? we're talking gender here.

Just throw everything you're able to, wether it is chairs, books, bottles etc. Go with heavy shoes and kick him in the balls

With the girls its all slaps and scratching when we fight with dudes its punches and kicks,i dont give two ***** about orientation or gender if you take it over-board ill step up the game, whats important is the skill you use should be matched by the other person.

I already have with a couple of them years ago. It was mainly over stupid ****.
Sexuality aside, they're a guy, I'm a guy; what's the difference?

I concur.
I wanted to beat the **** out of an exfriend once I found out he tried outing me. I found out earlier last year, but I decided to let it go and just cut him out of my life altogether.

I don't know what sexuality has to do with advantages in a fight... A man is a man, a woman is a woman, and a more muscular person is a more muscular person...
If the guy was smaller than me or about the same size, of course I would fight him if necessary, if he was bigger and I didn't seem to stand a chance, I wouldn't. It doesn't matter if he's straight or gay...

I got into a fight last year, I beat the **** out of the ****, this started because I knocked his jaffa cakes out of his hands at lunch, the **** started to strangle me...worst decision he ever made, I punched him 4 times repeatedly above the eye, the police got involved and the school excluded me for 3 days, it was worth it
