Oddly enough, I find Mariah's singing far more emotionally expressive than Whitney's - Breakdown, Vision Of Love, Slipping Away, etc. What helps Mariah is that she writes about reflects her life, and that allows listeners to connect with her on an emotional level.

As for Janet, there isnt a day that goes by where I don't shade or drag her on Twitter. From "If" and "The Pleasure Principle" songs and videos being vastly overrated, the Velvet Rope being overrated, the horrid King magazine cover, to her overuse of her whisper register I can go on for days dragging her. But I know stans here are easily upset over someone else's opinion and feel the need to rape the "report" button, and I refuse to be banned because someone couldn't take the font their brain decided to read.

Those that called out Janet , madonna , mj , mariah and whitney need to be reeducated in pop music!

First artist that came to my mind when I saw the title of the thread is Rihanna just for a fact that she didnt produce a good album. Good album where EVERY song is incredibly good. Lady Gaga 'artistry'. I appreciate the woman, but she talks art but in music nothing happens.

I didn't say they were good at it but all three attempt to dance all the time.

And y'all make them her competition when comes to everything else. They are her peers, are they not? And she is a better dancer than all three. Really, my argument that she is a quality dancer had nothing to do with how bad some of the other pop girls are at it. Sure, they make her look like Janet when it comes to dancing but that's beside the point.
