I would have done the song where Katy let the background dancers do the work for her. Just imagine this.
Katy stands on that pedestal thing with her wings in a cocoon or whatever. Then she starts singing and they open (she's still standing still). The wings lift her up and put her down on the centre of the stage. She keeps singing with her wings, and the dancers in the trees do their thing. She can still provide visual interest without flying up in the air and all that ****. In the end they lift her up in the air and the dancers are dancing underneath her as she sings the final chorus, and then it ends.
She puts a strain on her voice when she tries to do all these things at once, she should just focus on her vocals
Can't wait until Wide Awake is actually a hit.
So I guess I'm going to watch it tomorrow then..
