Cheryl is doing well because she's putting out quality music, bringing her up just makes Alexandra stans look desperate. People forget it was Cheryl who put her through to the live shows :/

But sis, cheryl will always have more uk support than alex and it has nothing to do with quality. Radio 1 have always hated Alex (her and ms ferguson are the only ones not to be frequently playlisted - the latter never has), but not cheryl. They even had Tinie tempah at Radio1's big weekend and Alex was the only big star of 2010 not there,which looked odd as she was the best live performer in the country.

Yes she will because she's worked hard over the past ten years to build that fanbase..

Alex stans being pressed because Cheryl is succeeding whereas Alex isn't, maybe people should listen to both there new albums and realise why..

Right. It's not Cheryl's fault Alex flopped, trying to bring Cheryl's success down won't help her situation. Without Cheryl, Alex wouldn't be here. Cheryl is successful because she is the UK's best performer, and she makes fun pop music that people relate to. Radio will play her because she's one of the most loved people in the UK, and her music is exactly what it says on the tin. Alex won't be played because it comes across like she made no effort and is just recording generic trash way below her talent, and even if they did and she got a couple of hits it wouldn't sell albums.

I agree. Cheryl's new album is light years better than Alex's new album. Cheryl has lots of support and a larger fanbase than Alex however, Alex wouldn't even be where she is today without Cheryl.

Even though I wouldn't be that keen, Alex should work with people like David Guetta and Tinie Tempah to try and get her popularity back in the UK.

Promotion has also been absolute **** in the UK.

I'm not pressed, I want both to do well. But from the start, cheryl always had more media support, which counts nowadays. Even when Alex was doing well. Alex sows a lot, but they aren't playing her. That's the end of it. Without airplay, you flop. I don't think Alex has ever been played as much as Cheryl is now.

About 1000 maybe?? There was about 700 copies difference between the top 20.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's less than 1000. It's #74. Seventy-four. And you know how dreadful album sales are right now.
