Yoyo, would you like to provide us receipts? You claimed : "Gaga's show cost 4.5 mill dollars for set up alone" Sources for that please. And while you're at it, could you provide us sources for Britney's show cost numbers as well.

And please provide these profitability receipts because do you really think Gaga would embark herself+team on such enterprise if they were to realize of such low "barely-there" returns? Let alone with full-on Label backing/support?

From what I read, Live Nation or whatever company is involved in the 360 deal puts money up front for your tour expenses and you pay them back a percentage from your tour, album and merchandise sales.

I was just about to ask him the same thing. I've never heard of that and nor do I think Gaga would do such an expensive show if it meant that she's not profiting much, especially if she has to pay what was given to her up front.

And if he meant 4.5 mill for the whole tour, that's nothing compared to the overall gross and if it's for one show, I doubt she'd be going to little places like Manila where she grossed less than $2 mill.

I like Yoyo but his / her claims are so vague. Provide us with receipts please because we know how true estimates by Britney stans tend to be.

People can say whatever they want about Gaga, but the girl can sing and perform the **** out of a show. That and the fact BTW was such a hugely promoted album (despite its flaws, but that's another discussion) and the fact the tour has gotten so much controversy these past few weeks has it fresh on a lot of people's minds. Lastly, her name and her singles. MTN didn't perform to Bad Romance or Pokerface standards, but with not even 3 LPs under her belt, she has a very strong catalog of hit singles that people bump to from gay dive bars to middle America homes. It's no surprise how well the whole machine is doing.

because is lady gaga people wanna see her, she's relevant at the moment, she has hits and she has an image of puttin great shows or at least simply because people is curious to see what she gonna do or how her shows are like.

She's made herself more than a popstar and has become a pop culture staple.
