Marriage is older than Christianity so it pisses me off when Christians call moral superiority and claim that it is a Christian construct, it's not.

Right, it's a legal concept regardless of whatever religious frills people tack on to it.

This topic is really overused. I have nothing against it, I mean two men gettin' married don't have to affect anything, maybe the society but the society don't live with them and most of them are bunch of hypocrites so..

Marriage isn't even always "religious" marriage. There are ceremonial marriages--which tend to be religious in nature--and non-ceremonial marriage, and some states even recognize common law marriages. And all of these different types of marriages in the United States convey between the spouses the same rights and privileges. So this idea that all marriages have to be religious in nature doesn't really hold water. Some people go to the Justice of the Peace and call it a day, without the use of a religious figure.
