There is this crazy hot guy who works at this book store part time (he looks like Zac Efron). And he's served me twice now. He sounds kind of gay (high pitched voice to a degree) and I'm sure both times he has flirted with me. The first he asked if my mothers day card & book were for my girlfriend, along with random other details and the next he asked if I was into surfing (I brought a surfing magazine). And then we had a nice little chat. However I'm still not sure if he's gay.
Anyway as dumb as this sounds I'm really into him and I just have a gut feeling we could work. I haven't felt this way about a guy for a long time. But how do I ask someone who works at a shop out, especially when I don't know if he's gay or not?
Who else are you gonna ask anyone out?
I find asking out my friends on a date more weird.
When you see a girl/guy you feel like asking out on a date with just go for it
And at asking out on a date over Facebook etc.
If a girl asked me out over the Internet my answer will be no right away.
Try real conversation it works better
These are all horrible ideas. What you should do, because this works, is to leave your number on the second copy of the receipt or a napkin and put it on top of the check. As you leave, smile at him and that's that. If he calls you, great. If not, move on and realize he was only "flirting" to get a better tip. It's an old waiters' trick.

He works at a book store and in New Zealand we don't even give out tips at restaurants unless we get EXCEPTIONAL service
I'm so torn, I feel like I need to see him everyday
