The Last of Us Officially Coming in 2013 Our greatest fear confirmed.

Even with all the hubbub about The Last of Us at E3, the fact that PlayStation and Naughty Dog didn't announce a release date made a 2012 debut seem unlikely. Last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Naughty Dog announced that The Last of Us is coming in 2013.
The news came in a shortened version of the E3 demo, which we've embedded below, but you can catch the full demo, an IGN live show walkthrough and an interview with the voices behind Joel and Ellie below that. Whew. Oh, and check out my preview of the extended 17-minute The Last of Us demo, too.
With Tomb Raider's release date still MIA along with Watch Dog's and Halo 4 (I believe); The new God of War game being a prequel and CoD having to wait until the end of next year again because Ain't Nobody Got Time for all that COD @ one timeframe: The Game of The Year for 2013 is certainly among us.
