Not at all.. im here for Drake() Bruno, Travis Porter, Roscoe Dash, Kanye, Mac Miller, mykko montana, kirko bangz, etc.. im here for a wide range of hip hop artist
It doesn't have to do with the subjects they sing about but more with their voices and the type of songs they make. I just prefer female artists' music
The females I listen to sing pop. And the males I listen to are in indie bands. I feel like every male pop singer (besides Adam Lambert) is boring. I just can't get into them. But it's the same way for indie. I can't get into female-fronted bands.
I wouldn't say I have a problem, but females just seem so much more... appealing. Like pop girls have more to offer.
But the main males I listen to are Drake, CB, and Big Bang, who are all already suspect (sans BB).
I don't even listen to the lyrics, only if I really like the song.
In fact, who the **** relates to the music you hear? Kinda cheesy and tacky. I don't do it, but I respect it.
Answering to the question, I think that females were made to sing, and not males. You're generalizing as if only gays would do what you are proposing in the OP, though.
Oh my GOD, I thought I was the only one.
I can't stand their voices, I can't stand their basic lyrics. Listening to them talking about how they love someone or how they want to **** someone disgusts me, I don't know why.
I only listen to Tame Impala and Beach House, not one single solo act.
