- One of the best songs of 2006. I love it since the first listen, the song was just a feel good alternative stuff, and I could not get enough of "Chasing Cars". Snow Patrol delivers the lyrics that were fairly predictable, but at the same time a sing-along song. The video was of course exactly what the lyric said, with Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody lying on the street, in front of an elevator, on the beach, on his bed etc. It was just a damn lazy video, but that doesn't mean it takes any negativity from this great song.
