Alesha Anjanette Dixon (born 7 October 1978 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England), known by first name Alesha, was born to an English mother and Jamaican father. She is a former member of UK girl band, Mis-Teeq. She is expected to have her solo debut album Fired Up released in 2007.
Solo Career
She released her official first debut single "Lipstick" on August 14, 2006 and it went to #14 on the UK Single Charts. She released her second single "Knock Down" on October 30, 2006 and it went to #25 on the UK Download Charts. But, on the UK Singles Charts, the single peaked to #45, on the second week, but falling down to #68 the third week.
On November 6, 2006, Dixon announced that she had left Polydor Records to explore labels that will give her better promotional statistics. Polydor Records is willing to support her regardless of the fact of her departure, and even gave Dixon full rights to her unreleased debut album, Fired Up. It is now expected to be released in Spring 2007 on a new record label.
Dixon announced that she has worked with a wide arrangement of producers for her solo debut album, including Richard X, Xenomania, Johnny Douglas, Brian Higgins, and Paul Eppe. She has even worked on a song with UK rapper Estelle.

Right now i love her, she was my favorite member from Misteeq and when she released Lipstick i was surprised she was gonna keep singing, i liked Lipstick it but all i needed to love her was "Knock down" that song rocks!!
