So according to the director the reason the Engineers wanted to kill all humans was because Jesus was an Engineer and they crucified him? (explaining the crucifixion of the xeno, as a way of mocking the humans or something)
Makes sense with the timeline (2000 years ago, etc).
I liked the movie, but there was so much just kinda brushed over that it really didn't answer as many questions as it appeared to have.
I had to go digging online to find any sort of reasonable explanation for it all, and there was at least one that finally sprouted up, which also mentions humans crucifying Jesus Engineer Christ.
