Since Born This Way was around the time that she supposedly got back with Luc, and from the way she dedicated the album to him (in a weird way). + The release of You and I + the spit-up, and then the Taylor era... is it not possible that she just wanted to move on from that entire album as quickly as possible.

And because she was so passionate about this new person in her life + her fans that she's recently seeing again, that she just WANTED to make new music.
