I think we all know that Nicki is no Lil kim. Nicki writes her own rhymes, Kim's are ghost written by the best.

Kim has a delivery and stage presence up there with the male rappers. Nicki is still working on hers.

Nicki has her 360 deal and her branding on point...she is really get paid instead of spitting rhymes about getting money and facing tax liens.
Nicki is breaking all types of records.

Lil Kim is one of the most important rappers of the 90s.

In the meantime, Nicki took from the best and made it her own. She learned from the past mistakes of female rappers and will go further because of it...so yes she is no Lil kim

Ice-T doesn't have that many hits to begin with, so I doubt it.

But I do think he's trying to politically correct since Nicki is a female and he dissed Soulja Boy for the same thing and received a slight backlash from it.

Nope. He mentioned nothing about "potential." He said, "it's all Hip Hop." Then he explains the different sides of Hip Hop, and even mentions the type of Hip Hop Soulja Boy makes. Plus, he said things like "she's no Kim" and "I'm not the biggest Nicki fan." So yeah, he was trying to be politically correct. He knows the last time he said anything against someone being "real Hip Hop," he had a few rappers come for his neck.

It's still good to see Ice and Public Enemy, along with Nas and all of them praise Nicki.
